As dancers, the body is an instrument that may be fine tuned in order to dance with our full potential. This class offer a comprehensive training including floor work, self healing techniques (including acupressure) and challenging yet organic movement sequences. Directing the release of unnecessary tension, the dancer is fully present, awake and ready to move. Participants learn full body skills including inversions to integrate into whole-hearted and full out dancing.

PARTNERING THE MOMENT Noon-2pm | $150 full | $35 drop-in

This movement training focuses on physically and spiritually engaging investigations and structures that activate ones capacity to listen to the internal landscape, the environment and one another. Participants explore techniques to connect to one another through breath, awareness, and clear impulse. A special emphasis is put on our capacity to listen with the whole body in order to create dances that are sensitive, powerful and honest. The workshop will delve deeper in to allowing space for the inner quiet to emerge through self healing techniques, including acupressure based on traditional Japanese Shiatsu.
